Isaiah, Zaecrafts, is a 25 year old artist. Born in Newark New Jersey, Isaiah has always enjoyed using art as an outlet to express his emotions. Isaiah uses artistic mediums such as photography, fiber arts , and writing to tell his story.
I embarked on the journey of fiber arts in April of 2021, as a way to self soothe. Naturally, I am a very anxious person, but this feeling was being compounded due to the crisis’ stretching across the globe, as well as some more personal issues. After learning the foundational parts of crocheting, I decided to make my work all about joy. To do this most of my work revolves around child like nostalgia. I am creating a world for my inner child to flourish, hoping to let him guided me on my journey of peace, as I stitch together hats, apparel, and other miscellaneous things to heal him.
As of recent, Isaiah work has evolved into a whimsical magical world of yarn.
